What began in the spring of 1991 as a dream shared by three friends - to build five private houses near Liepāja city in Latvia - has grown into a team of more than 1600 professionals. Today our work is recognized by clients and partners not only in Latvia, but far beyond. As our Chairman of the Board, Dainis Berzins, puts it: together, we can solve almost anything.
Over the past 35 years, UPB has become one of the leading industrial groups in the Baltics, a major contributor to Latvia’s exports, and a recognized employer and one of the largest taxpayers in the Kurzeme region.
