Kaspars Rožkalns appointed as the Chairman of the UPB NAMS Management Board

On October 2nd, Kaspars Rožkalns joined the management team of the construction company UPB Nams. He will assume the position of Chairman of the UPB Nams Management Board, while existing board members Uģis Grīnbergs and Kristīne Silmane will continue their roles on the company's board.

In his new position, Rožkalns is focused on leading and advancing the UPB Nams team, as well as driving the promotion of construction services. Additionally, one of his responsibilities is to direct the digitalization process within the company. "Such areas as digitization, artificial intelligence, and other innovations will transform the construction industry in the coming years, so I see that my professional knowledge and past experience will be valuable in promoting the further development of UPB Nams. Equally important is that not only UPB is a heavyweight in exports, but it also generates power for the Latvian economy and is a flagship in its industry," Rožkalns expresses his thoughts on becoming part of the UPB Nams.

Kaspars Rožkalns has over 10 years of cumulative experience in leading various teams and companies, including his recent three-year tenure as the Director of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). Previously, he managed a translation agency called Linearis in the Baltic states and China, as well as LIAA's representative offices in China and Germany. During this period, Rožkalns implemented various changes in digitalization and organizational culture, creating new synergies and promoting innovation.
