Campus Ullevål is more than our largest façade project in Oslo - it’s an example of how early decisions can shape sustainable outcomes.
During the design phase, we reduced the façade’s preliminary tender-stage carbon footprint to 148.8 kg CO₂/m², achieving approximately 9% reduction.
This improvement isn’t result of a single change, but series of decisions made early in the project - from selecting the right materials and optimizing the design to working closely with our suppliers.
The façade solution includes:
- 2,800 m² Accoya wood cladding
- Schüco International KG Ultra Low Carbon aluminium profiles
- Aluminium sheets with low CO₂ emissions
- ISOVER mineral wool
This is yet another example showing that the early design phase holds the greatest potential for meaningful carbon reductions.
