As part of the visit, we attended Construction Days – the country’s largest construction industry event – and, welcomed the Minister, together with leading local general contractor representatives, to one of our active revitalization projects in Oslo, Qvarteret.
We presented the project’s development, highlighting the transformation of a historic building into a modern office complex that combines the retention of existing structures with innovative construction approaches.
As the Minister noted: “Latvia and Norway have strong potential for cooperation in the construction and infrastructure sectors – from military infrastructure projects to energy efficiency and timber construction technologies.”

Yesterday, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, Baiba Braže, we took part in an important industry visit in Norway.
