On 13 November in the atmosphere of the upcoming national celebration, in the presence of the President of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis the Annual Prize of the Employers Confederation of Latvia (LDDK) to the best employers and their supporting institutions across Latvia was awarded. The special Annual Prize for significant contribution to the development of the environment of entrepreneurship was awarded to Uldis Pilens, entrepreneur, the Chairman of the Council of the UPB holding.
Uldis Pilens: One is not a warrior. One can create ideas, one can do things, but the strength is in the collective, so this award symbolically is not for me, it is to our team, my to confederates, shareholders, managers, our employees - more than 1 300.
