The new Jensen Metal factory opening took place on July 6th at Karosta Industrial Park in Liepaja, Latvia. It is a relatively large industrial project in the region — the total area of the building is 12 000 m2 and the longest building of the three building complex is 165 m long.
It is also one of the most modern metalworking factories in the Liepaja region with robotic technologies that improve both operational efficiency and quality. Opening the new factory also created new vacancies in Liepaja.
Regardless of the fact that additional works had to be performed during the construction of the project; the construction was completed before the deadline specified in the contract.
UPB is the general constructor of the industrial building. Most of the construction works were performed by specialists from Liepaja and its surrounding area.
