On 1 September 2014, contract No. L-APV-14-0155 on the implementation of the project “Purchase of Multidimensional Robotic Metal Profile Processing Equipment” was signed between SIA “RK Metāls” and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). Within the scope of the project the company will improve the technological basis of the company with new, knowledge-capacious equipment that will enable production of more complicated building constructions (production of more innovative profiles) in an automated process. The new equipment will give an opportunity not only to produce metal constructions with higher value, but also to significantly increase the production volume of already existing metal constructions.
Total project investments are estimated in the amount of EUR 550,000.00 and the planned project implementation period is 10 months.
The project is implemented with the support of the European Regional Development Fund.
