UPB has opened the art gallery located at 19, Dzintaru Street, Liepāja, and it has been operating since 2002. The building erected in the 1960-s, was renovated in 2002. From a military office, it was made into a modern office for UPB Nams, one of the UPB AS group companies.
UPB company has started to shape its own collection of artworks, which is supplemented with works from the exhibitions. The origins of the collection started with the first exhibition, for which the sculptor Ojārs Feldbergs created stone sculptures. It was followed by the one-person exhibitions of artists from Liepaja and Riga: Ieva Iltnere, Aija Zariņa, Dace Lielā, Aldis Kļaviņš, Edvards Grūbe, Inta Celmiņa, Līga Ķempe, Sandra Krastiņa, Edgars Vērpe, Jānis Mitrēvics, Ilze Avotiņa, Ivars Heinrihsons, Barbara Gaile, Frančeska Kirke, Helēna Heinrihsone.
UPB can boast its cooperation with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, the result of it having been the production of several music albums.
The collection of most popular Latvian academic music of all times Highlights of Latvian Classics recorded by the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra in 2001 was awarded the golden CD status. The album was produced as dedication to the 10th anniversary of UPB operation..
By way of maintaining this tradition, the second music CD was produced - the album Crossroads / Krustceles. It is an unusual top class project as it joins classical music with jazz.
