Andrejs Ģērmanis’ paintings’ exhibition MY PALETTE is on display at the UPB exhibition gallery at 19, Dzintara Street, Liepāja, between 2 March until 10 May. The exhibition includes paintings being a part of his recent years’ accomplishment. The painter graduated from the Arts Academy of Latvia 42 years ago. His works are on display in Latvia’s and Russia’s museums as well as in a number of private collections in his home country and abroad. The basis of Andrejs Ģērmanis’ paintings is observation of nature ranging from lyrical expression to expressive one. His paintings have the motives of his life in the countryside - in Bigauņciems, where the artist lives, as well as other impressions. Mr. Andrejs Ģērmanis is the head of the Jūrmala branch of the Artists’ Union of Latvia.
