The company AS UPB has entered into an agreement with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) on an external marketing project within the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme. The financing is allocated by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for entering foreign markets or, more specifically, for external marketing activities. Read more

  

UPB has been recognized as the most valuable company of the construction sector in Latvia, according to the list of the most valuable Latvian companies, “TOP 101 2015”, ranking in the high 51st position in overall score. Read more

  

The best 12 Latvian engineers, architects, producers of construction materials, teaching staff and scientists were presented “Annual Construction Industry Award” in a solemn ceremony held on the 3rd of September in the National Library of Latvia. This award is the highest acknowledgement of the industry in Latvia.

"One can consider that a new age has begun in the history of the company this year, opened up by machines purchased with the help of the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) and Norwegian financial mechanism programme called Norway Grants — 3D coordinate measuring machine allowing for measuring geometric deviations and shape of parts, as well as other new metal processing machines," thus the current situation is depicted by Artjoms Fokejevs, Member of the Board of the LLC (SIA) RK Metals.

The new direction of UPB holdings – mechanical engineering – reaches break-even point and expands production applying new technologies for production of metal processing and coordinate measuring machines.
